💥September 5
You are cordially invited to the book launch of ‘Nolanville’
Grab the book, meet with Nolan, and indulge yourself in an evening of wondrous creativity!
There will be live music, eccentric artwork, and stars to sit beneath in accompaniment to famed Winnipeg musician, artist, and poet Scott Nolan (@scott_nolan_langrud_music)!
Set-up begins at 7pm Event starts at 7:30pm Bring your own chair (or legs).
*This is a free and public event in partnership with First Fridays

“Famed musician and poet Scott Nolan has built a complex world out of paper collage, aptly titled ‘Nolanville’. Venture into the unnamed city’s seedy underbelly, its scintillating skyscrapers and downtrodden cutout characters, as vulnerable as those real strangers that we pass on the street everyday. Made up of paper and cheap glue, ‘Nolanville’ reminds us all of the fragility of our own existence. Glossy eye-candy by the poet laureate of the gutters.”
