Gidamaji’igoomin maamikawiseyang gidoodaanaaminaan – Our spirit awakens when we remember our past   by KC Adams, curated by Aimee Craft.
Join us under the tent outside for bannock, tea, and conversation after viewing the exhibition in the centre, with a performance taking place at 8pm in the outdoor space.
Covid protocols:
The C2 Centre will have a capacity limit and require masks in our indoor gallery space. Refreshments, beverages, and the performance will take place outdoors.

“body horror vignettes” by lita b.
lita b. (they/she) is a self-taught multimedia artist currently residing in Ontario’s Durham Region. A self-ascribed Mad/disabled Black queer spoonie, lita uses art as a means of catharsis for themselves with a focus on other Black queer Mad/disabled femmes as a way to find relationship through experiences where they do not see themselves represented.
Masking and social distancing are required in the AANM office/gallery.

Foundation Mentorship Program Graduate Exhibition
Unfinished business. Lost memories. Scraps. Leftovers. How do loose ends speak in our practices? The 2020-2021 MAWA mentees grapple with the ephemerality and materiality of their personal and collective archives.
Exhibition runs June 3 - 24, Wed. - Friday, 10am - 4pm.  Masks are required at MAWA
