Baked by Bronwynn and Coffee with Genny B will pop up for the evening with sweets and coffee so you can fuel up while you explore the neighbourhood.
We've also put together a raffle prize for the evening. Make a purchase at each shop/vendor for an entry, up to 5 entries per person. See poster for prizes. Raffle will be drawn on Saturday June 4th and winner will be announced same day. Winner must be able to pick up prize at 68 Albert Street on Sunday June 5th.

Made in the Exchange: Over a Century of Cloaks, Clothing and Accoutrements
This exhibit tells the story of the garment trade in Winnipeg circa 1899-1980.Taking place in what was known as garment district, the main floor of 70 Arthur St. sets the stage for a fascinating glimpse into what it was like and the clothes that were made. Over 30 garments are on display as well as new clothing by the Makers in the Exchange.
 Also open Tues. & Thurs. from 1-4 pm until June 9

Gidamaji’igoomin maamikawiseyang gidoodaanaaminaan – Our spirit awakens when we remember our past   by KC Adams, curated by Aimee Craft.
Join us under the tent outside for bannock, tea, and conversation after viewing the exhibition in the centre, with a performance taking place at 8pm in the outdoor space.
Covid protocols:
The C2 Centre will have a capacity limit and require masks in our indoor gallery space. Refreshments, beverages, and the performance will take place outdoors.

“body horror vignettes” by lita b.
lita b. (they/she) is a self-taught multimedia artist currently residing in Ontario’s Durham Region. A self-ascribed Mad/disabled Black queer spoonie, lita uses art as a means of catharsis for themselves with a focus on other Black queer Mad/disabled femmes as a way to find relationship through experiences where they do not see themselves represented.
Masking and social distancing are required in the AANM office/gallery.

From our core group of three, Mujer Artista has gradually expanded over the years to involve more artists.
